Watch Barack Obama Officially Endorse Hilary Clinton For President

U.S President, Barack Obama has endorsed presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton as his potential replacement in the White House on Thursday.

The president’s long expected endorsement was delivered in a video posted online.

In the video Obama called for unity among the Democrats and assured them that Hilary – who was once his Secretary of State, shares their values.

Obama also embraced Sanders economic message, which according to him, fired up much of the liberal wing of his party.

He said: “I want to congratulate Hillary Clinton on making history as the presumptive Democratic nominee for president of the United States.

“Look, I know how hard this job can be,” Obama continued, That’s why I know Hillary will be so good at it.

“I have seen her judgment. I have seen her toughness. I’ve seen her commitment to our values.

“In fact, I don’t think there’s ever been someone so qualified to hold this office,” he said. Specifically, Obama said Clinton has the “courage, compassion and heart to get the job done.

“I am fired up and I cannot wait to get out there and campaign for Hillary,” Obama said.

In a response to her endorsement by President Barack Obama, Clinton said: “It just means so much to have a strong, substantive endorsement from the president. Obviously I value his opinion a great deal personall

“It’s just such a treat because over the years of knowing each other, we’ve gone from fierce competitors to true friends.”

Hilary Clinton defeated Vermont Senator, Bernie Sanders on Tuesday to become the presumptive Democratic nominee for President of the United States of America.
